- We’re hiring a Product Manager or Associate Product Manager to lead the evolution of Zeraki Finance. You’ll work directly with engineering, design, and cross-functional business teams to discover the right problems to solve and ship solutions that actually move the needle.

- Discovery & Strategy (Core to All PM Levels)
- Continuously engage internal teams (Sales, Finance, Customer Experience) and school users to identify real financial workflow pain points.
- Validate opportunities through interviews, data analysis, shadowing, and problem mapping.
- Work with leadership to define and evolve the product vision and strategy for Zeraki
- Finance in East Africa.
- Translate vague needs into structured product problems and hypotheses worth testing.
- Collaborate with design and engineering to prototype and test before committing to builds.
- Roadmap & Delivery
- Maintain and prioritize a product backlog grounded in business impact and discovery insights.
- Own or contribute to roadmap planning and sprint execution (APM = support, PM = lead).
- Define clear product outcomes and ensure roadmap items are linked to measurable goals (e.g., % increase in fee collections, % reduction in billing errors).
- Lead agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retros, and Daily Standups.
- Own QA for your product: Write test cases, validate features, triage issues.
- Systems & Scale
- Oversee feature adoption and system stability across modules (e.g., Fee Management, Bank Reconciliation, Inventory).
- Coordinate integration with banking APIs and payment platforms as we grow cross-border.
- Use data to flag bottlenecks, regressions, or adoption issues—then lead the charge to fix them.
