Key Deliverables

  •    Ensure safe running of the Plant, including people & equipment, by adhering to Group & Local regulations, as well as coordinating with HSE authorities. Overall responsibility of Loss Control with respect to the Plant.
  •      Demonstrate visible Management commitment through active participation in developing HSE Management systems and provide necessary resources.
  •      Ensure compliance of QHSE policy, rules and regulations, issue violation notices and recommend for rewards.  
  •      Responsible for emergency response plan for fire, spill and medical emergency as per HSE procedures
  •      Ensure timely actions on any incident / hazard reports in consultation with HSE Coordinator, Production Manager & Lubricant Operations Manager
  •      Ensure timely availability of products, with acceptable & agreed quality & service levels by efficient planning of production processes meeting the sales orders and inventory levels.
  •      Ensure optimization of resources, production & delivery processes on a continuous basis.
  •      Formulate and Update the strategic plan for the overall Plant development to achieve the Plant objectives as decided by the Management, in coordination with the Sales as well as Logistics functions of TEMTL.
  •      Propose, agree & execute CAPEX budgets / contracts within the specified time frame.
  •      Identify, coordinate and carry out the training activity related to the staff with the objective of leading & motivating them to manage the assigned tasks more efficiently and safely.
  •      Lead the continuous improvement of various processes on continuous basis maintaining / improving productivity, cost ratios, systems reinforcement and improvement, audit compliance, adapt best work practices etc.
  •      Evaluate performance of the staff on periodic basis and recommend for suitable appreciations / actions as required and ensure that Plant team operates with high level of commitment.
  •      Maximize the Net income of the Plant by focusing continuously on productivity, optimization of resources deployed, identify and communicate to the Top Management on the constraints / solutions etc. 
  •      Be proactive to look for improvements in production processes and advise Lubricant Operations Manager for capex requirements
  •      Support Lubricant Operations Manager in execution of plant expansions – design requirements, validation, execution and commissioning of new systems
  •      Ensure Production Plans in coordination with the Production & Supply Managers
  •      Ensure Maintenance Management is executed with proper implementation of MX tool
  •      Prepare KPI reporting every month and achieve the target given

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Product & Project Management Graduate/ Post graduate in Chemistry / Engineering / MBA Training recommended for the position: Advanced Computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint etc) Production & Supply chain management Management Advancement Programs HSEQ System Updates & Auditor courses

QHSE Objectives & Assignements :

–        To understand and adherence to the current regulatory requirements applicable to the areas of responsibilities.

–        Conduct regular audits and walk around to review the potential losses in the areas of responsibilities.

–        Reporting of near misses, incidents, hazards & injuries to line Manager within the time frame as required by QHSE policy and Manuals.

–        Strict adherence and compliance towards Group QHSE policy with high Quality of QHSE performance and complying with TEMTL QHSE Policy, Procedures & specific rules & regulations applicable to the area of activity at all time.

–        To set, meet and improve upon the KPI targets as set towards overall QHSE objectives.

–        Selection and availability of applicable PPE’s at all time and ensuring the strict use of PPE’s in work area of responsibility.

–        Take part in the training program to acquire QHSE knowledge and impart this training to colleagues as and when required by Management.

–        Conduct safety risk assessment , health risk assessment , planed general inspections, loss control tours and other kind of audits as per the TEMTL QHSE requirements.

–        Participate in the investigation and analysis of incidents as and when required.

Job Related Objectives & Assignements:

  •       Control of costs of to achieve Blending Fee of 45$/T (without depreciation) and to maximize the net income.
  •       Achieve and Sustain high service levels while improving the productivities of the processes.
  •       Adapting the Plant to the changing requirements – both volumes and business wise.
  •       Maintain design integrity in accordance to the Group safety and quality standards.
  •       Compliance and enhancement to overall QHSE performance w.r.t. Loss control objectives, emergency preparedness, training, PPE etc. 
  •       Maintaining a high level of HSE performance 
  •       ISO-9001 performance as per the laid down targets
  •       Improvements to overall performance levels as agreed by the annual appraisal system objectives.
  •       Responsible for production planning, execution, overall resource planning, as well as deep involvement in production process expansion (like blending processes – design aid, follow up and commissioning etc). 
  •       Reporting & adherence to agreed KPIs & plant objectives
  •       Timely commitment to Capex Commitment & Liquidation
