Job Description

Abuja Clinics was established in 1989 as a health institution to provide efficient medical services to the then budding Federal Capital Territory (FCT). From humble beginnings it has grown into a group of 3 hospitals located in Karu, Garki and Maitama districts of the FCT . The group possesses advanced medical equipments to assist its team of highly qualified and dedicated health personnels. These equipments include but are not limited to the 128-slice CT scan unit, 4D-Ultrasonography, Mammography unit with stereotatic biopsy and Intra-operative C-arm fluoroscopy allowing for excellent diagnosis and cure. The hospital renders services in all major fields of medicine such as: Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Internal Medicine, Radiology and Dentistry.

Key Deliverables

  • Manage and maintain CEO’s diary and email account
  • Filter emails, highlight urgent correspondence and save attachments.
  • Ensure busy diary commitments, papers and travel arrangements are managed effectively including producing a daily folder with diary, necessary papers.
  • Conduct weekly diary meetings with the CEO to discuss upcoming engagements, invitations and other requests.
  • Schedule on behalf of the CEO meetings between him and his direct reports and the committees and group to which he is a member.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation requirements in connection with others and ensure arrangements in place for the CEO to match his requirements.
  • Filter general information, queries, phone calls and invitations to the CEO by redirecting or taking forward such contact as appropriate.
  • Manage the process of calling for briefing on behalf of the CEO from start to finish, ensuring that he/she is fully prepared for all arrangements.
  • Keep and maintain an accurate record of papers and electronic correspondence on behalf of the CEO.
  • Prepare correspondence on behalf of the CEO including the drafting of general replies.
  • Minute general meetings as required and complete research on behalf of the CEO.
  • File management.
  • Provide a service that is in line with the CEO’s work habits and references and ensure guest meetings with the CEO are well taken care of.
  • Type medical reports done by doctors.
  • Manage all administrative mobile telephone.
  • Manage stationery requisitions.
  • Any other duty as assigned and in line with the attached protocol.

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Administrative and Support Services A degree in Secretarial Studies or Office Technology & Management.
