Mining Engineer

The management of COMIKAGI, a Cooperative engaged in mining of precious metals in Ruli Sector, Gakenke District, Northern Province, informs all interested and qualified candidates that they are looking to hire a  Mining Engineer  for COMIKAGI Cooperative. Here are the requirements for those who wish to apply for this position:

• Monitoring mining and exploration activities in the COMIKAGI cooperative
•  He/She checks whether the mining site complies with the government's mining program, complies with standards and takes care of the health and safety of workers (Safety and Healthy)
•  Ensure that river water is not polluted during mining operations: and ensure that water filtration pits are maintained;
• To develop and teach mining methods that comply with the standards of good mining practices with the aim of increasing productivity;
• To prepare, both in studies and on a small scale, methods for mining and processing stones 
• To know the day-to-day picture of problems and solutions in mining and research in the COMIKAGI Cooperative as well as specific problems and ideas for how to solve them; 
•  Preparing and considering projects and equipment in the field of excavation and research
• To understand the international context of mining and research
•  Developing or studying ways to further increase the value of precious stones
• Preparing, monitoring and assisting the COMIKAGI cooperative in applying for and extending mining permits and related issues;
• To prepare or publicize the progress made in the mining operations of the COMIKAGI cooperative using legal means;
• Submitting a report on activities carried out and an action plan based on his/her previously planned action plan to the executive secretary of the COMIKAGI cooperative. 
• Coordinate mining activities within the COMIKAGI cooperative and think deeply about the problems and strategies leading to solutions in order to increase production.
