 A member of the Accor group, the Pullman Kinshasa Grand Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in the heart of Kinshasa's business district, offering magnificent views of the Congo River. ASSIGNMENT :

Responsible for coordinating and executing all marketing and communication activities for the hotel.

This includes public relations management, the production of promotional materials, advertising, and the implementation of promotional programs and events. Responsible for implementing mechanisms to enhance the hotel's image, ensuring that each initiative strengthens the hotel's reputation and contributes to achieving business objectives.

Key Deliverables

Marketing and Communication Support

  •  Ensure complete knowledge of the following:

- All hotel features and services, as well as opening hours.

- The hotel's event spaces, entertainment options and menus.

- Daily scheduled activities.

  • Oversee the conceptualization of the monthly newsletter, ensuring that the content is relevant, engaging and in line with the hotel's marketing objectives.
  • Create and manage a database for communications via WhatsApp and email, aimed at improving the reach and effectiveness of direct marketing campaigns.
  • Write press releases on personalities staying at the hotel, on event concepts and events for hotel employees, as well as on major events taking place there. (Ex: SUM UP)
  • Coordinate the production of posters and flyers for employees and clients, as well as other printed materials.
  • Write radio spots and press articles to promote the hotel's activities and events.
  • Oversee the creation of photo mood boards for photoshoots, ensuring that each shoot is in line with the hotel's visual identity and objectives.
  • Collaborate with influencers to promote the hotel's activities on social media, ensuring increased brand visibility and engagement.
  •  Establish a calendar of internal events, in coordination with other departments, to ensure that each event is planned optimally.
  • Take care of the decoration of events and internal concepts, ensuring that each element is in accordance with the image and teme of the hotel.
  • Manage the administrative requirements of the department.
  • Ensure that contracts are signed with models, photographers, influencers, music groups, entertainment groups, or any other supplier related to the image, the show, and entertainment in the hotel.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate guest lists, invitations for internal VIP events, cocktails, lunches, dinners, etc.
  • Respond to complaints and requests from Internet users on social networks.
  • Assist in welcoming media, organizing planned press conferences and other press activities.
  • Maintain and update the media list for the regular sending of press releases or specialized publications regarding special events, promotions, etc. Monitor and update the information and content of the hotel website as well as publications on the hotel's other digital platforms, OTAs and GDS.
  • Create and manage content for all hotel social media pages, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.
  • Ensure that the hotel's SEO is optimized to improve online visibility and generate quality traffic to the hotel's website.
  • Maintain and update the photo library.
  • Analyze and evaluate the performance of marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure monitoring of the submission of service provider invoices and their payment.
  • Other Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in all briefings, meetings and trainings assigned by management, making a significant contribution to the strategic development of the hotel.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene at all times, reflecting the hotel's brand image and serving as a role model for team members.
  • Know and comply with the hotel's fire safety and emergency procedures, ensuring that the team is trained and prepared to respond effectively when needed.
  • Perfom any other reasonable duties assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the hotel and the market.
  • Develop business and social networks by participating in public relations activities to increase the hotel's sales opportunities.

Essential Qualities

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
