Financial planning and analysis

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Perform financial analysis, including budget vs. actual variance analysis.
• Generate reports for management, such as branch profitability and expense variance reports.
• Develop and present financial information for board meetings. 

Financial management and control

• Oversee cash flow management and prepare daily cash position reports.
• Manage working capital and debt collection.
• Ensure accuracy of financial recording and oversee payment and journal vouchers.
• Manage fixed assets and ensure all records are up-to-date.
• Implement and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial risks and fraud. 

Compliance and reporting

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Prepare tax books and ensure timely submission of returns.
• Ensure timely completion of financial statements and audit compliance. 

Strategic support

• Advise management on financial matters to aid decision-making.
• Identify and address issues to ensure the company's financial health.
• Help improve efficiencies and reduce costs across the business.
• Assist in developing financial strategies and risk minimization plans.
