We are looking for a talented individual with the relevant skills, experience, knowledge, and expertise in Trade Marketing and Marketing to be based in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will report directly to the Revenue Growth & Trade Marketing Director.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The Lead Trade Marketing – HORECA and Key Accounts is responsible for driving sales growth, enhancing merchandising and product visibility, boosting customer engagement, and ensuring efficient resource utilization through effective trade marketing activations and strategic initiatives within the HORECA and Key Account channels.

- Successfully implement brand portfolio strategies and trade marketing activations in HORECA and Key Account channels, resulting in increased market share.
- Continuously evaluate, optimize, and align national and regional promotional efforts to drive NARTD (Non-Alcoholic Ready-To-Drink) growth in HORECA and Key Accounts, enhancing brand value, increasing market share, and ensuring a positive return on investment (ROI).
- Leverage category insights and cross-market learnings to develop tailored activation plans that address local market dynamics and shopper preferences, maximizing the effectiveness of trade marketing activities.
- Ensure strategic alignment across internal and external stakeholders in executing growth initiatives and marketing tactics within key channels.
- Continuously improve marketing and brand planning standards to ensure consistency with Coca-Cola Beverages Africa’s (CCBA) broader strategic direction.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key HORECA and Key Account partners, fostering long-term collaboration and commercial growth opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics related to trade marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and adjustments to ensure target delivery.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Commercial, and Brand teams to ensure seamless integration of trade marketing strategies with overall commercial objectives.
- Oversee the development of Point-of-Sale (POS) materials and trade tools to support impactful in-market execution and strengthen brand presence.
- Lead and support cross-functional project teams in planning and executing strategic campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, building trade marketing capabilities and fostering a high-performance culture
