Job Description
Kilimo Trust in collaboration with the Rwanda Agricultural Board (RAB) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MINAGRI) through the KIIWP2 project supported by the International Fund for Agriculture and Livestock Development (IFAD), is calling on individual farmers, farmer groups, cooperatives, and companies operating in Kayonza district to apply for an opportunity for business owners who need support in the value chain of the following crops: Maize, Soybean, Beans, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes, Cassava, Rice, Vegetables, and Fruits.
Projects to receive support must be related to:
- Build a storage facility capable of receiving and storing at least 1,500 tons of produce from smallholder farmers and intended for transport to the food market.
- Building an agricultural processing plant
In this round, four (4) projects operating in Kayonza district will receive financial support. Project ideas requiring financial support are to be completed and submitted electronically on the website ( link ) every day from now until June 2, 2026.
Project ideas will be accepted and confirmed as being in line with the objectives of the RAB SPIU/KIIWP2 funded project. Project owners will be notified of the next stage.
