Job Description
This role is responsible for executing and supporting effective internal communication strategies across Old Mutual’s digital platforms. The role focuses on delivering business-as-usual (BAU) communication campaigns, managing digital content distribution and reporting, and ensuring alignment with established communication frameworks, brand standards and governance requirements.

Operational Delivery

Support the rollout of BAU cluster communication campaigns and plans that qualify for groupwide distribution.

Create comms support plans, scheduling and distribution of timed Digital content (via intranet / Yammer /Everlytics / Lock Screens and TC screen slides)

Ad hoc writing and editing for the broader comms team as required

Set up content, testing, approvals, distribution and reporting on performance using Everlytics tool.

Manage and maintain reporting dashboards: Monitor internal platform indicators, metrics and targets: for Group communication initiatives and campaigns (Sharepoint (intranet) / Everlytics / Yammer.

Select suitable external content from the clusters and syndicate internally. End-to-end, from creation to approval and reporting.

Support the communications team with ad hoc design elements using Adobe Creative Suite

Advise communication teams in clusters and group functions on internal channel effectiveness and optimal communication mixes for groupwide content distribution.
Maintain the communication platform landscape:

Identify Group Communication platform needs / opportunities

Manage the internal SharePoint (intranet), Viva Engage and Everlytics platforms, and external hosting and publishing of files for Group initiatives.
Communications assurance & governance:

Ensure all content complies with Old Mutual Tone & Language Guide, style, brand, policies and playbooks.

Understand, interpret and implement group communications compliance requirements within HBS delivery
