Job Description
The Human Resources Director is responsible for defining, managing, and implementing the HR strategy within a multinational industrial company operating in the DRC. They support the Group's performance, ensure legal compliance, facilitate organizational transformation, and guarantee a stable and sustainable work environment.

A. Definition & implementation of the HR strategy
- Define the HR strategy in line with the Group's vision and objectives.
- Implement HR policies: recruitment, skills management, compensation, performance.
- To ensure continuous monitoring of legal and regulatory developments in the DRC.
- To actively contribute to the decisions of the Management Committee.
B. Human Capital Management & Talent Development
- Oversee the recruitment of key talent to support industrial operations.
- Deploy skills development, internal mobility and succession plans.
- Design training programs tailored to the challenges of the sector.
- Promote operational excellence and a performance culture.
C. Social relations & social climate management
- To ensure a fluid and constructive social dialogue with social partners.
- Managing and anticipating social conflicts, collective bargaining and mediations.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards in ethics, safety and compliance.
- Maintain a stable social climate despite sectoral constraints.
D. Administrative Management & Compliance
- Supervise the administrative management of personnel: payroll, contracts, HR files.
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations and internal Group standards.
- Coordinate internal and external HR audits.
- Secure HR processes in terms of data, confidentiality and document management.
E. Organization, transformation & performance
- Supporting projects for transformation, restructuring and workforce optimization.
- Set up and analyze key HR KPIs (turnover, absenteeism, HR costs...).
- Manage HR digitalization projects.
- To support continuous improvement and organizational performance.
F. Leadership & management
- To supervise, coach and develop a multidisciplinary HR team.
- Working in partnership with operational managers to anticipate their needs.
- To embody the Group's values and promote a culture of integrity, fairness and transparency.

- Bac+5 / Master's degree in Human Resources, Law, Management, Occupational Psychology or equivalent. - International certifications preferred: CIPD, SHRM, HRCI. Experience - Minimum 15 years of experience in HR, including 7 years in HR management. - Proven experience in industry (mining, oil, energy, manufacturing). - Experience in Central Africa or in a complex environment is highly valued. Technical skills - Expertise in labor law and social relations. - Excellent understanding of talent management mechanisms. - In-depth knowledge of workforce planning, performance management, and compensation. - Proficiency in HRIS and HR reporting tools. - English required Behavioral skills - Strong leadership and well-developed political acumen. - Strong ability to adapt and manage multicultural environments. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Rigor, integrity, discretion and ability to manage sensitive situations. |
