Key Deliverables

  • HR Systems & Data: Maintain and optimize HR systems (Jarrison Time, BEE123/EE123, Acetrac), train users, and conduct audits. Leverage data to drive HR strategies, reporting, and compliance.
  • Automation & Process Improvement: Implement automated workflows for HR functions like onboarding, payroll, and performance. Continuously refine processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Performance Management: Define and drive performance frameworks. Train managers, oversee reviews, implement improvement plans, and ensure annual agreements are signed.
  • HR Reporting & Compliance: Compile and submit statutory reports (merSETA, EE, BBBEE), manage dashboards, and support board reporting. Ensure compliance with all deadlines and legal requirements.
  • Talent Development: Lead career development, succession planning, and talent reviews. Track internal mobility and develop leadership and skills pipeline programs.
  • Training & Skills Development: Conduct gap analyses, compile training plans and budgets, and manage SETA processes and provider relationships.
  • Recruitment Analytics & Strategy: Analyse recruitment metrics, support workforce planning, and enhance efficiency through dashboards and continuous improvement.
  • Wellness & Engagement: Manage wellness programs, conduct engagement surveys, and execute strategies to boost morale and retention.
  • EE & D&I: Oversee employment equity plans and committee activities. Monitor representation and drive diversity initiatives.
  • Policy & Compliance: Review and update HR policies, contracts, and forms. Ensure legislative alignment and communicate changes effectively.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Conduct salary benchmarking, develop incentive programs, and manage accurate remuneration processing.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, Finance or a related field
  • Advantageous, HR certifications such as PHR,SHRM-CP, or HR Analytics certifications.

Minimum Experience

  • 5-years post matric experience in Human Resources
  • 2-3 years of experience in HR analytics, reporting, or similar role
  • Budget preparation and administrative control
  • Strong Excel dashboard creation and data analysis skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • HR Strategy & Legislation: Expertise in HR organizational strategy; in-depth knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA, BEEA, POPIA, and Codes of Good Practice
  • Systems & Tech: Advanced in HR Management Systems and computer literacy
