As the Regional Service Partner for the UNDP Regional Program, World Vision will be responsible for implementing interventions in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health, Hygiene and Social Welfare within the District Health Services (DPS), namely:

- Tuberculosis component: support for diagnosis, treatment and management of non-resistant tuberculosis and drug-resistant tuberculosis; reception and distribution to the last mile of first and second line anti-tuberculosis drugs, prevention such as screening and active search for people with tuberculosis as well as preventive treatment particularly in children and people living with HIV, awareness for young people, awareness campaigns, fight against stigma and respect for human rights and screening (mobile populations and others), nutritional support (prisoners, patients with MDR/RR TB), among others.
- HIV/AIDS component: support for diagnosis, care, and support for people living with HIV at HIV sites within health facilities; reception and distribution to the last mile of first- and second-line antiretroviral medications, as well as laboratory consumables and reagents for diagnosis and follow-up testing. For vulnerable populations, the provision of combined HIV prevention services, including approaches to stimulate demand for services, distribution of condoms and lubricants, testing and PrEP, sexual and reproductive health services (STIs, other), promotion of human rights for improved access to HIV and TB services, and community empowerment.
- This position will oversee the activities of the HIV/TB GFGC7 project at the targeted health zone level. The officer will act as a supervisor, monitor, and collaborate directly with the management team of the targeted health zone(s), healthcare providers in healthcare facilities and health areas covered by the project, as well as community-based centers and all members of CODESA, CAC, social workers, and community health workers involved in HIV & TUB, ensuring that the aforementioned interventions are carried out in accordance with donor procedures and standards, the budgeted work plan, and the GFGC7 project performance framework.
- To supervise and regularly monitor the implementation of the GFGC7 project in health zones, especially in health care facilities (HCFs), community-friendly centers and integrated key population sites, distribution points (DPOs).
- Ensure traceability and verify the availability of medicines and medical products at the level of user-friendly centers / integrated centers and ESS, and ensure their rational use.
- Monitor pharmacovigilance activities
- To ensure the optimal and correct use of the resources (material and financial) made available to social and solidarity economy enterprises and community centers within the framework of the GFGC7 project.
- Support the ECZs in the monthly collection and analysis of data, as well as in the transmission of validated reports to management; Analyze monthly the data and validated reports from different ZSs
- Supporting the strengthening of community activities against tuberculosis and HIV through regular monitoring of community health workers
- Ensure compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Health (PNLS and PNLT) of the assistance of ESS and friendly centers in financial and technical matters.
- Participate in meetings or workshops to share experiences, identify lessons learned to be used for improvements needed in the implementation of the GFGC7 project
- Participate in certain monthly monitoring meetings at the Health Zone level, focusing on low-performing ESS (provide the necessary technical support) as well as in meetings of local structures on supplies.
- Facilitate the organization of training sessions (logistics, reporting, etc.) within the supervised area and ensure that planned training sessions are held on time and completed with training reports.
