We are recruiting a Chef de Partie for one of our clients who operates in the hospitality sector.


The position

1. Main mission

The Chef de Partie is responsible for managing and supervising a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the quality and consistency of the dishes prepared. He/she plays a key role in coordinating with other chefs de partie, managing inventory, and training team members, ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen and customer satisfaction.

Key Deliverables

  • Section management
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen section assigned to him.
  • Ensure the preparation of dishes in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Guarantee the quality and presentation of dishes, respecting the establishment's recipes and standards.
  • Coordination and communication
  • Work closely with other section chefs and the Head Chef to ensure effective coordination.
  • Participate in menu planning and raw material inventory management.
  • Communicate clearly with the dining room staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Human resources management
  • Supervise and train the members of the kitchen team under his responsibility.
  • Organize and plan the team's work, based on orders and events.
  • Ensure a safe and motivating work environment.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Bac+2 level diploma in cooking, hospitality or related field.
  • Training in team management and food hygiene is an asset.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar position, ideally in the hotel or restaurant sector.
  • Experience in team management and kitchen section coordination.
  • Mastery of culinary techniques and food hygiene and safety standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory and order management methods.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in inventory and order management software.
