Working alongside people with disabilities and those made vulnerable, it takes action and advocates to meet their essential needs and improve their living conditions. It is committed to promoting respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.Since March 2018, the program has been managed by a national coordination based in Kinshasa and overseeing 3 operational bases in the DRC (Kinshasa, Goma and Kasai).Job ObjectivesThe social worker is responsible for conducting social and vulnerability assessments of individuals and households, contacting caregivers, participating in the identification and referral process, collecting necessary information and providing feedback to other team members, and following up on referred cases.

Mission 1: Identification, support and guidance of beneficiariesApply the project methodology while ensuring an inclusive approach.
- Identify and assess the needs of vulnerable individuals, particularly women.
- Conduct individual interviews to analyze their specific needs.
- Develop and implement personalized social support plans.
- Provide psychosocial support tailored to each situation.
- Refer beneficiaries to relevant services (health, legal, psychosocial, etc.) and ensure follow-up.
- Complete monitoring tools accurately and confidentially.
- Raise awareness within communities about rights, available services, and protection mechanisms (including complaint procedures).
- Collaborate with the team, HI focal points, and local partners.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on activities and cases monitored.
- Contribute to updating the service mapping and improving intervention strategies.
- Promote and uphold HI's values and policies.
Mission 2: Data management, report writing and team collaborationCollect, verify, and accurately document field data in monitoring tools (case sheets, databases).
- Submit validated data weekly to the data entry clerk/operator.
- Prepare activity reports according to established deadlines (weekly, monthly).
- Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance of data with HI procedures.
- Contribute to the design of materials needed for activities, to discussions on methodological improvements, and to adaptations of intervention strategies.
- Document and maintain up-to-date evidence of assistance received (testimonials, feedback).
- Consistently apply humanitarian principles in daily tasks, including informed consent and confidentiality.
- Ensure the confidentiality of information shared by beneficiaries at all times.
- Respect internal standards and guidelines in all operations.
