Key Deliverables

  • Provide an exceptionally friendly and welcoming experience for all guests.
  • Efficiently handle guest check-ins and check-outs, including registration and departure procedures.
  • Manage guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
  • Accurately process payments and manage cash handling in line with hotel policies.
  • Maintain organized records and handle administrative tasks with precision.
  • Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest journey.
  • Operate hotel computer and phone systems for reservations and guest services.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consistently friendly, affable manner and an easy smile.
  • Fluency in both English and Swahili (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively without direct supervision.
  • demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency with computer and phone systems, including Microsoft Office and PABX phone reservation systems.
  • A proven ability to handle cash and process payments accurately, honestly, and efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and both PM and overnight shifts.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Opera Cloud and Micros Symphony systems is a significant advantage.
