Our client, a big plywood factory in west Athens Greece, is actively seeking reliable and hardworking forklift operators to join our team

THE JOB

As a forklift operator, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and organize materials, while supporting efficient warehouse or site operations.

Key Deliverables

Receiving and Processing Stock 

  • Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders. 
  • Organize and store materials in designated locations. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records. 

Order Picking and Packing 

  • Accurately pick items according to order specifications. 
  • Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit. 
  • Prepare shipping labels and documentation. 

Shipping and Logistics 

  • Load outbound shipments onto trucks or other transport methods. 
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery. 

Inventory Management 

  • Perform regular stock counts and update inventory systems. 
  • Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods. 

Warehouse Maintenance 

  • Keep the workspace clean, organized, and hazard-free. 
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks). 

Safety and Compliance 

  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols. 
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines. 

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • At least 1 year of experience as a forklift operator 
  • Valid car driving license with a minimum of 3 years’ driving experience 
  • Physically able to lift heavy bags (approximately 20 kg) 
  • Willing and able to cover the costs of the work permit, visa, airplane ticket, and service fee 


Special Benefits for this Position

  • KES 120,000 net monthly salary, (paid 14 salaries per year) 
  • Work Schedule of 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week. 
  • Free accommodation provided 
  • Initial contract of 1 year, with the possibility of renewal—either for an indefinite period or with another employer in Greece
