Job Description

Manage, monitor, and control the bank's fixed assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal, in strict compliance with applicable accounting standards (GECEC, SYSCOHADA, or IFRS).

Key Deliverables

 Record fixed asset acquisitions in accordance with current procedures and standards; Monitor the commissioning of fixed assets; Print and label fixed assets; Maintain the fixed asset register reliably and comprehensively; Ensure the correct allocation of fixed assets by type and cost center; Analyze and monitor outstanding fixed asset accounts, including pending or down payment acquisitions. Perform reconciliations between physical data and accounting records in order to identify and correct discrepancies. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax standards. Respond to requests from internal and external audits by providing the required information and supporting documentation. Participate in physical inventories of fixed assets and their verification.

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Administrative and Support Services Applicants must hold at least a Master's degree (Bac+5 level) in Accounting. Finance, Auditing or other related field Must have at least 2 years of experience in this role Candidates must have at least two (2) years of experience with EquityBCDC Fluency in French and English would be an asset.
