Key Deliverables

  • Oversee the company’s accounting and financial operations.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Ensure effective financial controls and accounting procedures are maintained.
  • Monitor income, expenses, receivables, payables, and cash flow.
  • Review financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic financial forecasting.
  • Ensure timely statutory financial obligations and regulatory filings.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and other financial institutions.
  • Monitor financial risks and recommend appropriate control measures.
  • Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and reconciliation of financial records.
  • Supervise, guide, and develop the finance and accounts team.
  • Support management in financial planning, cost control, and business performance monitoring.
  • Perform other financial and management duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, with experience in a managerial or senior finance position.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial controls.
  • Experience in statutory compliance, taxation, audit coordination, and financial risk management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage a finance team.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related industry is an added advantage.
  • Must currently reside within Lugbe or its immediate environs in Abuja.
  • Must be able to commute conveniently to the company’s office in Lugbe on a daily basis.

  • Salary: N300,000 - N350,000 per month.
