Job Description
The Employment Equity Consultant ensures that clients’ Employment Equity requirements are met. This role guides clients in their compliance with Employment Equity legislation, the submission of various crucial reports, and ensuring that the client is making progress towards achieving its Employment Equity Plan. The role ensures the formulation of EE-related strategies, the implementation of policies and best practices in aid of achieving their EE objectives. It entails the monitoring and implementation of the suggested EE-related initiatives. It provides support for day-to-day compliance-related queries and maintains a great relationship with clients that enables introductions to new business opportunities.

Client Retention:
- Maintain a professional relationship with clients to ensure a 100% retention of the client base.
- Ensure the quality of completed work as per the standard. Manage own diary, service activities, and consulting schedule.
- Maintain a professional relationship with Labournet staff to facilitate reciprocal business practices (e.g., Introductions & Referrals.)
Personal Development:
- Ensure own competency and knowledge on system functionality, legislative requirements and changes, professional development (self-development), and career development are always maintained.
- Attend various developmental activities and demonstrate understanding through competency assessments
Employment Equity Compliance:
- Managing all planning, implementation, execution, and record keeping related to Employment Equity Compliance within the client base
- Identify and resolve barriers to compliance with Employment Equity legislation
- Ensuring that consultative processes around employment equity are implemented.
- Conducting various analyses to determine numerical and non-numerical goals
- Development of an Employment Equity plan and the necessary consultation thereon
- Ensuring that the plan gets implemented over the specified duration
- Ensure submission of the EEA2 and EEA4 reports to the Department of Employment and Labour.
- Ensure all Management and Staff are aware of Employment Equity and its Purpose
- Assist the client with the identification of designated individuals for Succession and Experience Planning related to the Employment Equity Plan
Project Planning and adherence:
- Generate and implement a visitation and delivery schedule for own clients
- Adherence to schedules for service delivery and various projects
- Planning of, attendance of, and closing of appointments on a routine basis
- All relevant client documents were generated and uploaded to the relevant document management system in line with company standards
Client Experience:
- Ensure delivery of services occurs in a way that maintains client satisfaction
- Deliver excellent service to obtain referrals and introductions from current clients to new clients
- Delivery of service and professional communications that ensure client satisfaction with the brand and product
