Our client, a strategic player in the energy sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo, develops innovative projects in photovoltaics, small-scale hydropower, and electrical grids (HV/MV/LV). They actively participate in the modernization of infrastructure and the country's energy transition.
As part of strengthening their Engineering Department, they are seeking an experienced technical professional to work across the entire project lifecycle: feasibility studies, design and sizing, profitability analysis, preparation of technical and financial proposals, and preparation of documentation for partners, investors, and funding bodies.

- Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for photovoltaic, hydroelectric and electrical grid projects
- Design and size the installations (power plants, networks, protection systems, storage, associated structures)
- Develop single-line diagrams, synoptic diagrams, calculation notes and technical design documents
- Build and analyze the financial models of projects (CAPEX, OPEX, LCOE, IRR, NPV, return on investment period)
- Prepare technical and financial bids for public and private tenders
- Drafting technical reports, presentation materials, and documents intended for financial and institutional partners
- Verify the compliance of projects with applicable technical and regulatory standards
- Provide technical support to project teams during the supplier consultation and implementation phases

| Engineering And Technical | You hold an engineering degree in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, energy or a similar field. You have proven experience in a design office or in the development of energy projects, ideally large-scale photovoltaic and/or battery storage systems. You have expertise in HV/MV/LV electrical networks, photovoltaic technologies and, ideally, hydroelectricity. You are capable of conducting feasibility studies, analyzing profitability, and financially modeling projects. You have strong skills in writing technical documents and professional proposals, as well as mastery of design and calculation tools (AutoCAD, advanced Excel, PV sizing software or equivalents). You are rigorous, autonomous, possess analytical skills and are capable of working on complex strategic projects. You are fluent in both spoken and written French and English. |
