Deputy Head, IT Team Lead at CEMCS Microfinance Bank Limited

• The IT Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational management of the organization’s technology infrastructure, software systems, and IT policies.
• This role ensures the effective deployment, maintenance, and security of IT resources while supporting business objectives and enhancing user experience.

Product & Vendor Management:

• Supervise the configuration and operational management of the core banking software (BankOne).
• Maintain strong relationships with external software vendors to ensure service quality and timely support.
• Design and manage promotional materials and oversee the maintenance of the company’s website.
• Develop and implement IT policies aligned with organizational strategy.
• Interpret and enforce IT-related policies and procedures across the organization.

Hardware & Software Administration:

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software across all branches.
• Ensure optimal performance and uptime of IT facilities and equipment.
• Collaborate with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess systemrequirements and computing needs.
• Provide timely technical support and solutions for end-user issues.

Network Management:

• Install, configure, and monitor LAN/Wireless networks and related systems.
• Administer email systems and ensure effective virus protection and cybersecurity protocols.

Information Security:

• Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
• Safeguard web and mobile applications, as well as network resources.
• Manage data backup systems, user support platforms, and disaster recovery plans.
• Coordinate network security measures to protect organizational data, software, and hardware assets.
• Develop and maintain secure computing environments and strategic IT controls.
