Job Description

  • Betech Solar Solutions is seeking a confident, talkative, presentable, persuasive, and customer-focused Graduate Trainee to support our customer service, content creation, social-media, and website activities.
  • This is a 3-month paid internship with a monthly stipend of Ksh 20,000. The successful candidate must be comfortable speaking with customers, appearing on camera, and creating engaging content that promotes our solar products, services, and completed projects.
  • Based on performance and business needs, Betech Solar Solutions may extend the internship or offer full employment to a candidate who meets our expectations.

Key Deliverables

  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries through WhatsApp, phone calls, social media, email, and website channels.
  • Follow up on customer leads, quotations, orders, deliveries, payments, and after-sales requests.
  • Create engaging marketing content, including product photos, captions, short videos, project posts, and customer updates.
  • Appear in product videos, demonstrations, live sessions, and social-media content.
  • Take photos and videos of products, projects, installations, customer demonstrations, and team activities.
  • Upload and update product photos, videos, descriptions, prices, promotions, and other content on the Betech website.
  • Assist with posting and managing content on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Status, and other social-media channels.
  • Support digital marketing campaigns and help generate qualified customer leads.
  • Maintain customer records, content schedules, lead follow-up trackers, and daily activity reports.
  • Support the sales, marketing, and customer service teams with other reasonable assigned duties.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Recent graduate from 2025 or 2026, or a final-year student awaiting graduation.
  • Diploma or degree in Customer Service, Business, Marketing, Communications, Media, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
  • Very confident, talkative, persuasive, and professional when engaging customers.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera for product videos, demonstrations, live sessions, and social-media content.
  • Strong interest in customer service, digital marketing, social media, sales, and content creation.
  • Basic skills in Canva, CapCut, content writing, video editing, social-media posting, and website content uploading are an added advantage.
  • Organized, proactive, responsible, presentable, and willing to learn.
  • Able to work from Nairobi.

Shortlisted candidates will later be invited to submit a one-minute introduction video explaining why they are suitable for the opportunity. This will help us assess their communication skills, confidence, presentation ability, and comfort in front of the camera.
