Key Deliverables

Curriculum Development & Implementation

  • Oversee and support the effective implementation of the Cambridge curriculum for Early Years and Secondary levels.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure appropriate schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments are in place.
  • Regularly review and update curriculum documents to reflect best practices and current developments in education.
  • Ensure progression and continuity across the key stages.

Academic Oversight

  • Monitor academic performance and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead internal audits of teaching and learning practices to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate school-wide assessments, including checkpoint exams and internal mocks.
  • Teacher Support & Professional Development
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to teaching staff.
  • Organize and lead professional development sessions aligned with the Cambridge framework.
  • Conduct lesson observations and provide constructive feedback to improve instructional quality.

Parental Engagement & Communication

  • Support parent-teacher conferences and curriculum information sessions.
  • Provide academic reports and updates to parents regarding student progress and curriculum changes.
  • Leadership & Administration
  • Work collaboratively with school leadership to align curriculum goals with the overall school vision.
  • Contribute to school improvement plans, accreditation processes, and policy development.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of curriculum documents, academic reports, and staff development.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Cambridge curriculum training/certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching and/or curriculum coordination within the Cambridge system.
  • Proven experience in Early Years and Secondary education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum structure, assessment, and pedagogy.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teachers and students.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Passion for academic excellence and continuous improvement.
