All our chefs have all been trained in the best culinary schools in the country and have years of experience under their belt. To ensure you find the right chef, you will be able to view the professional profile of all chefs that contact you and you also get to chat with them to ask any questions or request any changes to the menu they sent you.

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Continental Cuisine Chef to join our restaurant team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of continental dishes, including Italian, French, and other European cuisines.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a keen sense of flavor and presentation, and excellent kitchen management skills.

Key Deliverables

  • Menu planning and preparation: Develop and prepare continental dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
  • Kitchen management: Manage kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants.
  • Food quality control: Ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant's quality and presentation standards.
  • Inventory management: Order and manage kitchen inventory, including ingredients, spices, and cooking supplies.
  • Kitchen safety and hygiene: Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 4-7 years experience.
  • Experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Continental cuisine expertise: Proven experience in preparing and cooking continental dishes.
  • Kitchen management experience: Experience managing kitchen staff and inventory.
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management.
  • Creativity and innovation: Ability to create new dishes and menus that showcase continental cuisine.
