Bun & Beef is a bold, fast-growing restaurant brand recognized for its gourmet burgers and vibrant dining experiences. As we expand into desserts, we’re looking for a passionate Chef with solid experience in ice cream preparation and kitchen operations to help us craft exciting, high-quality frozen treats and support our kitchen team.

Ice Cream & Dessert Prep
Make ice creams, sorbets, and frozen desserts using batch or artisanal methods. Innovate seasonal flavors, test new ideas, and ensure consistent quality and presentation.
Menu Development
Work with management to create new dessert items. Suggest plating and flavor pairings that reflect the brand.
Food Safety & Hygiene
Maintain hygiene standards and cold chain storage. Clean machines, mixers, and prep areas after each shift.
Stock & Inventory
Track ingredient levels and assist with receiving and storing dairy, flavorings, and dry goods.
Kitchen Organization
Keep recipe logs and production records up to date. Report equipment needs and ingredient shortages promptly.
Essential Qualities

Experience in kitchens, pastry, or dessert stations. Skilled in ice cream making using machines or artisanal techniques. Good understanding of stabilizers, sugars, emulsifiers, and dairy-free alternatives. Creative palate with strong taste, texture, and visual instincts. Familiar with HACCP or food safety systems. Can scale recipes, portion consistently, and manage cost. Works well solo or in a team. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle long shifts in cold environments. Food Handler’s Certificate required (or must obtain before starting). Prior R&D or pastry experience is a big plus. |
