Job Summary

  • We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales / Business Development Officer to join our growing team. 
  • This role is crucial in identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and converting prospects into long-term clients. 
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Salary

N300,000 per month (Other company benefits included).

Key Deliverables

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue and market growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales pitches and proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored logistics solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Attend industry events and network to stay informed about market trends and competitors.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and analyze market trends.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Excel, ZOHO, and other work tools.
  • Strong existing network of industry contacts.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and lead generation techniques.
