The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving growth. The role involves developing strategies to expand market presence, securing contracts with individuals, corporates, and institutions, and ensuring client satisfaction in line with the company’s vision and objectives.

Key Deliverables

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in property services.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential clients.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales/revenue targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and progress.
  • Provide regular business development reports and feedback.
  • Achieve monthly pipeline target.
  • Promote the company’s services through networking, and meetings

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • 2–3 years’ experience in business development, or sales in banking sector, preferably credit department.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Able and willing to travel outside Nairobi frequently.
  • Good in reporting
  • Good in relationship management
