NoKey Deliverables
1. Develop and implement approved business development strategies for growth and current market expansions.
2. Analyze markets to identify trends, competition activities and potential growth areas and leads generation.
3. Manage any existing client relationships and seek opportunities in expansion. Lead engagement with potential clients.
4. Collaborate with senior Management to create new products /services offerings for emerging identified markets.
5. Spearhead marketing initiatives.
6. Manage current sales team from recruitment, training, daily/monthly/quarterly performance management, debts management.
7. Suggest viable proposals for any review on company business operating model informed from day- to-day interactions and the need for advancement.
Key performance indicators (KPIs):
1: Strategy formulation and approval
Develop and present business development strategy to Directors: 2 weeks after joining.
2: New Markets penetration:
Identification of distinct market segment within the industry and boarding customers with over kshs 1,000,000 average monthly sales. 1 to 6 months after joining.
3: New clients
(a)Pursue and on-board new and current corporates with over kshs 1,000,000 average monthly sales.: 1 to 3 months after joining.
(b)Pursue and on-board new customers in motor repairs garages/spares shops business with over kshs 2,000,000 average monthly sales.: 1 to 3 months after joining.
4: Existing clients relationship Management:
Monthly business trip to regional established key customers/dealerships:
(currently: Mt Kenya region, coastal, Western regions, Nakuru region, Nairobi, security/big fleet operatorsmTour operators)
5: Customer service/satisfaction:
Review customer complaints from sales team and online platforms and share report monthly (issue/ analysis/recommendation).
6: Management of the current sales team.
Ensure they achieve minimum monthly sales target (details to be shared during interview). Incentive:
In additional to your remuneration, you will earn 0.5% sales commission on any additional sales over sales team target (details to be shared during interview). This does not include contracts initiated or sourced by Directors. In case of any major contract directly sourced by you, the commission rate/amount shall be negotiated accordingly.
