ACTED is an international humanitarian NGO under French law, present in the Democratic Republic of Congo since 2003. The organization operates in more than 5 provinces through 7 operational offices , with a permanent staff of more than 400 employees .

ACTED implements multi-sectoral humanitarian programs, particularly in Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH) , Food Security and Livelihoods , agricultural recovery and camp management . ACTED also develops civil society capacity -building projects and implements the REACH research initiative .

As part of its activities in the DRC and in particular the strengthening of its multi-sectoral interventions, ACTED is recruiting the profile below in compliance with the principles of neutrality, transparency and impartiality.

Key Deliverables

The archivist is responsible for the proper maintenance of the capital's physical and electronic financial archives.

He/She compiles, organizes and records them in accordance with the various ACTED procedures.

He/She will be trained in payment file compliance procedures by the Finance department upon taking up the position and will have to report any non-compliance points identified during archiving so that they can be rectified.

Essential Qualities

  • University degree (Bachelor's +3) in archives, computer science, communication or other similar fields,
  • Good computer skills, especially with the office suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an international NGO in the field of archives, document digitization;
  • To be of Congolese (DRC) nationality.
  • Sense of organization,

  • Autonomy
