Agronomy Technician - Kinshasa Djili Brewery

• Training in agronomy, plant production, agricultural techniques or related field.
• Prior experience is appreciated, but motivated, rigorous and eager-to-learn beginner profiles are welcome.
• Practical knowledge in food crops and/or market gardening.
• Skills in team management and on-the-ground organization.
• Fundamental requirements: Rigor, punctuality and discipline are imperative and non-negotiable criteria.
• Autonomy, practicality and adaptability.
• Mastery of the principles of reasoned fertilization.

• Operational management : Supervise and guide a small team in the field.
• Technical management : Ensure the maintenance, upkeep and proper use of equipment (drone, cultivator, brush cutter, atomizer…).
• Crop management : Manage basic crops (cassava, sweet potato, peanut, pondu rubber) then diversify towards higher value added crops (chili, cabbage, pepper, pineapple).
• Input optimization : Control and optimize the use of fertilizers and plant protection products (solid and liquid) according to crop needs.
• Technical collaboration : Working in synergy remotely with a senior engineer or technician for support and strategic monitoring.
• Rigorous management : Guaranteeing a strict, disciplined and efficient organization of cultivation and logistical operations.
