- To assist with tasks related to procurement, logistics and finance, including processing contracts, purchase orders and travel arrangements, in accordance with UNESCO rules and procedures, based on the documents provided, including data entry in DUO, drafting contract amendments, liaising with service providers, preparing payment files, etc.
- Assist in the creation, revision, and delivery of documents, including correspondence, memos, reports, and presentations. Liaise with the Yaoundé office to maintain organized reference filing systems.
- Contribute to monitoring project activities and budgets, including workshop logistics, by providing regular expenditure updates based on the SAP, liaising with the administrative unit to track commitments, and assisting in the preparation of budget revisions, fund decentralizations, and internal financial reports.
- Liaise with service providers in Burundi and the region (finance, hotels) and UNDP to facilitate payments related to project implementation.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for missions, meetings, workshops, and conferences, including preparing working documents, coordinating participants, and making logistical arrangements. Attend meetings as needed.
