Key Deliverables

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
  • Oversee billing cycles, process client invoices, and coordinate insurance claims and reimbursements
  • Administer payroll for clinical and administrative staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and financial forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with tax obligations, healthcare sector regulations, and relevant financial standards
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed
  • Maintain organised, audit-ready financial records and documentation
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and flag financial risks to management.

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Finance, Accounting And Assurance Services Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional certification: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent (completed or in progress) Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, ideally in a healthcare, clinic, or service-based environment Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for financial analysis Familiarity with VAT/tax filing, payroll processing, and financial compliance Preferred soft skills: Close attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy Calm, professional demeanour suited to a health-conscious, people-first culture Strong communication skills to translate financial data for non-finance colleagues Proactive and self-organised; you manage deadlines without being chased Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive financial and patient-adjacent data.
