Key Deliverables

  • Support the capturing and administration of sales orders on SAP in accordance with the Contract Management Procedure, under supervision.
  • Assist in coordinating designated product contracts across relevant functional teams (e.g. planning, production, quality, logistics).
  • Assist to develop an understanding of assigned contracts, including scope, deliverables, key milestones, and customer requirements.
  • Assist with keeping project stakeholders informed by preparing updates, meeting notes, and status information for review by the Contract Manager.
  • Support decision-making by gathering information, highlighting risks or delays, and escalating issues timeously.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable data packs. Teamcenter proficiency advantages
  • Provide administrative and coordination support where required.
  • Build and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and responsiveness.
  • Adheres and implements Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures and ensures compliance to ISO Standards with respect to SHE/Quality/Environmental/Energy.

Professional Qualifications

Industry Qualification
Human Resource Management NQF 6 qualification in Project Management or equivalent qualification. Exposure to defence-related products, manufacturing, engineering, or project environments wioul be advantageous. Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems would be advantageous; willingness to learn SAP is essential. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Self-motivated, eager to learn, and attentive to detail. Demonstrates sound business awareness and a willingness to develop commercial understanding. Ability to work effectively within a team is essential
