  • Valentori Group is seeking an experienced and highly professional Construction & Interior Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, execution, quality control, and successful delivery of our construction, renovation, interior fit-out, and finishing projects.
  • The ideal candidate should combine strong construction knowledge with practical interior fit-out experience, demonstrate excellent site leadership, and have a proven record of delivering projects to specification, budget, quality standards, and agreed timelines.

Key Deliverables

  • Plan and manage construction, renovation, interior fit-out, and finishing projects from mobilisation to handover.
  • Develop project programmes, work schedules, budgets, material requirements, labour plans, and implementation strategies.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, designers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Interpret architectural, structural, MEP, interior design, and technical drawings and ensure accurate site execution.
  • Manage works including masonry, ceilings, cabinetry and joinery, flooring, tiling, painting, electrical, plumbing, glass and aluminium, waterproofing, doors, windows, and other finishing works.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and enforce high standards of workmanship, quality control, safety, and housekeeping.
  • Track project progress, costs, material utilisation, variations, snagging, and outstanding works.
  • Identify risks, delays, design conflicts, and site challenges early and implement appropriate corrective action.
  • Verify material and labour requirements before procurement and minimise wastage, rework, and avoidable costs.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, site reports, meeting minutes, progress updates, and project records.
  • Coordinate snagging, project closure, final inspections, documentation, and handover to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, approved designs, contracts, applicable building regulations, and health and safety requirements.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a closely related discipline.
  • Relevant NCA accreditation/licensing appropriate to the candidate's professional role and responsibilities.
  • Strong practical experience managing construction, renovation and interior fit-out projects.
  • Demonstrable experience in premium residential, commercial, hospitality, or similar finishing projects.
  • Excellent understanding of construction methods, interior materials, specifications, quantities, workmanship standards, and sequencing of trades.
  • Strong project planning, budgeting, cost-control, problem-solving, leadership, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams while maintaining close attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using digital project management and reporting systems.
  • Willing and able to travel to projects across Kenya.
  • High standards of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and client service.

Portfolio Required

  • Applicants must provide a portfolio of completed projects they have personally managed or substantially participated in, clearly indicating their role, project scope, location, and where possible, photographs of completed works.
  • Applications without demonstrable relevant project experience may not be considered.
