We are recruiting a Carpenter for one of our clients who operates in the Infrastructure (Construction) sector.


As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for designing, building, and repairing timber structures for various projects in the construction and infrastructure sector. You will play a key role in the execution of construction projects, ensuring the quality and safety of the timber structures.

Key Deliverables

  • Read and interpret construction plans to understand project specifications.
  • Cut, shape and assemble pieces of wood according to plans and instructions.
  • Constructing wooden structures, such as frames, stairs, floors and fences.
  • Installing wooden elements on construction sites.
  • Check the quality of the materials and tools used to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborating with other tradespeople and members of the construction team to ensure the coordination of the work.
  • Carry out repairs and modifications on existing wooden structures.
  • Keep tools and work equipment in good working order.
  • Respect the safety standards and work procedures in force on the construction sites.
  • Participate in the planning and organization of construction tasks.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  •  Diploma in carpentry, timber construction, or a related field.
  • Training in construction techniques and site safety would be an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within a construction company (BTP).
  • Experience in the design, construction and repair of wooden structures.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting construction plans.

Technical skills

  • Mastery of carpentry tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and work procedures on construction sites.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and construction equipment.
  • Knowledge of building materials and finishing techniques.

Behavioral skills

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and clear communication to inform management in case of anomalies.
  • Autonomy and proactivity in solving technical problems.
