World Vision is a child-focused Christian humanitarian organization implementing development programmes in 30 Districts of Rwanda. Our interventions in the strategic period of 2026-2030 seek to reach 2.5 million of the most vulnerable children. This is done through programming in Child Protection, Education, Nutrition and WASH, and Poverty Alleviation (Resilience and Livelihoods).
World Vision Rwanda seeks to hire a highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced Rwandan national for the role of Camp Education Coordinator, joining an established and experienced team. It will be based in Mahama, Nyabiheke & Kiziba Refugee Camps, and will report to the Education in Emergency Manager.
Purpose of the position:
To effectively coordinate the implementation and monitoring of quality education among refugee camps in Early Childhood Development (ECD), Primary and Secondary Education, Special Needs Education (SNE) and Out of School Children (OOSC) for the improvement of the lives of the most vulnerable children. The role will also include data management as well as strengthening coordination with UNHCR and other partners in the Education and Emergency sector. The role holder will take the lead in representing World Vision Rwanda’s Education in Emergency program externally and will participate in all coordination and coalitions with the aim of expanding WV Rwanda Education in Emergency program.
