Missions The main responsibility of the Bilingual Sales Manager is to:
- Develop the client portfolio in the maritime transport, freight and integrated logistics sector;
- Promote all of the company's logistics services and solutions in the DRC and internationally;
- To manage and retain strategic clients;
- To contribute to revenue growth and to strengthen the company's positioning in the Congolese market.
Working conditions Potential constraints and difficulties:
- Frequent travel within the national territory and sometimes abroad;
- Working under commercial pressure with quarterly performance targets;
- Multi-stakeholder coordination (port operators, clients, freight forwarders, carriers).
Performance indicators:
- Revenue generated and gross profit margin;
- Number of new clients signed;
- Customer loyalty rate and satisfaction;
- Freight volume handled per customer or market segment.

1. Business development and prospecting:
- Identify new business opportunities in the field of maritime transport, freight and logistics;
- Actively prospect institutional, mining, industrial and commercial clients;
- Develop and implement business strategies tailored to each market segment;
- Prepare commercial offers, technical and financial proposals;
- Responding to calls for tenders and negotiating service contracts.
2. Customer portfolio management:
- Ensure regular monitoring of existing customer accounts;
- Identify the specific needs of each client and propose tailor-made solutions;
- To guarantee customer satisfaction through the quality of services and the responsiveness of the service;
- Manage commercial disputes in collaboration with the relevant departments.
3. Coordination and reporting:
- Working closely with operations, logistics and technical management to ensure the proper execution of contracts;
- Monitor sales indicators: revenue, margins, freight volume, satisfaction rate;
- Produce weekly and monthly reports on business activities;
- Actively participate in commercial and strategic coordination meetings.
4. Partnership development and representation:
- Represent the company to port authorities, shipping companies and players in the logistics sector;
- Identify and develop local and international strategic partnerships;
- Participate in professional events, trade fairs and specialized exhibitions (transport, logistics, shipping).
5. Mobility and national coordination:
- Ensure frequent travel to the main cities and activity areas of the country (Matadi, Boma, Lubumbashi, Goma, Kolwezi, etc.);
- Contribute to the harmonization of business practices between the different agencies or branches;
- Transmit useful field information to management to adjust the national strategy.
