Under the supervision of the Country Director, you will be responsible for the overall oversight and development of the local ARC (Audit, Risk & Compliance) function (risk management, internal and external audits, fraud prevention, and protection/safeguarding). You will contribute to improving internal controls and risk mitigation systems within the country office, in accordance with the policies and tools defined by the ARC framework.
More specifically, your missions will be to:
Ensure the coordination and facilitation of risk management;
Coordinate and facilitate responses to external audits (conducted by donors, external partners and public authorities, where applicable);
Coordinate and implement internal audit and internal control activities;
Contribute to and provide support for the prevention and management of fraud and protection situations (safeguarding);
At the country office level, ensure the identification, reporting and management of risks related to operational partnerships;
Ensure the overall management of the ARC (Audit, Risk and Compliance) function of the country office.
You will directly manage 1 Compliance Manager (currently being recruited) and 1 Safeguarding Manager.

You are familiar with the project management cycle and project management tools, budgeting tools and processes, and donor rules and regulations. You possess strong organizational and research skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the various sectors and activities of programs. You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively. You have a critical mind, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to make sound judgments when making difficult decisions. You are flexible yet focused and reliable in a fast-paced work environment with frequently changing demands and circumstances. You work effectively both independently and as part of a team, encouraging colleagues to contribute to shared goals. You are proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office and English, both spoken and written. |
