Job Summary

  • Adkan Services Nigeria Limited is seeking a creative and experienced Architect to design, plan, and oversee construction projects from concept to completion.
  • The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience and will be responsible for producing functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Deliverables

  • Develop architectural concepts, designs, and detailed drawings for construction projects
  • Prepare presentation drawings, 3D renderings, and technical specifications
  • Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers on project execution
  • Review project requirements and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor implementation of architectural designs
  • Prepare and review construction documents and material specifications
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timelines
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve design-related issues during construction

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./M.Sc./HND) in Architecture or related field
  • 5 years minimum proven experience in architectural design and project supervision (mandatory)
  • Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, Lumion, or similar tools
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building materials
  • Ability to prepare and interpret detailed architectural drawings and specifications
  • Good understanding of Nigerian building regulations and standards
  • Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional registration or membership (e.g., ARCON, NIA)
  • Experience working on residential, commercial, or institutional projects
  • Knowledge of sustainable and modern architectural practices
  • Experience in interior and exterior design coordination.
