Job Description

Turkana University College (TUC) was inaugurated on 27th January 2017 as a constituent college of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. This is Kenya’s first Public University to be established in the vast resource - rich area of north western Kenya. The University College is situated in Turkana County, which is the 2nd largest County in Kenya covering 68,680sq km. It is the same size with the Republic of Rwanda.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Management/Administration or its equivalent and CPA Part III, with three (3) years' experience with three (3) years' experience as Assis- tant Accountant Scale 10 or its equivalent OR
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or its equivalent and CPA Part III with nine (9) years working experience three (3) of which as Assistant Accountant Scale 10 or its equivalent.
  • Be a registered member of recognized professional body.
  • ICT Competent.

TERMS OF SERVICE

  • Appointment to the position of Lecturer will be on permanent and pensionable terms. The position of Tutorial Fellow and Graduate Trainee will be on a two-year contract.
