Key Deliverables

  • Compile annual financial statements from trial balance to completed statements.
  • Prepare year-end journals, current tax computations, and deferred tax calculations.
  • Reconcile balance sheet lines and clear queries directly with clients.
  • Perform and document independent review engagements.
  • Assist senior clerks on audit engagements during peak periods.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • BCom in Accounting or equivalent qualification at NQF level 6 or higher (completed SAIPA or SAICA training contract counts in your favour, and candidates partway through a SAIPA contract are welcome).
  • At least two years of experience in an accounting or auditing practice compiling annual financial statements.
  • Working knowledge of the IFRS for SMEs Accounting Standard and solid Excel skills.
  • Own reliable transport for this office-based position and valid South African citizenship, permanent residence, or work permit.
