Quality and prudent decisions for facilities approved.
Compliance with target turnaround time and the agreed SLAs with different units.
Develop, implement, review and comply with the bank’s credit policies/manuals/checklist/other standards.
Ensure Central Bank Credit Prudential regulations are complied with.
Ensuring all credit teams are up skilled throughout.
Convene monthly credit committee meetings.
Preparation of Board papers.
Department Leadership
Other subsidiary administrative roles

Essential Qualities
University Degree in a business-related field and an MBA is an added advantage Minimum of 5 years of Credit banking experience in management level within the credit function, A good understanding of Credit Analysis and Risk Management Have Excellent Relationship Management Skills, Customer Service Skills, Marketing & Negotiation, and Financial Analysis Skills Have knowledge of Trade Finance, Leasing Knowledge, and Knowledge of Structured Finance Have knowledge of Legal requirements, policies and procedures. Have Excellent knowledge of Product Development Ability to work closely with the business units whilst retaining independence Effective business writing and professional communication skills Excellent analytical and problem solving Demonstrate ability to cope with a changing environment Have a strong attention to detail Ability to work at a fast pace Have methodical approach to prioritize and organize workload to remain within the deadlines Good leadership and people management skills.
