Data & Content Officer- Econet Wireless Burundi

Econet Wireless Burundi is seeking talented and dynamic professionals to join our growing team. We have two exciting opportunities available:

1. VAS & Data Product Planning

• Develop and execute VAS & Data strategy to achieve revenue targets.
• Segment and position VAS & Data products by target groups.
• Work with New Product Development to plan product launches.
• Maintain performance scorecards for each product.
• Develop promotions to boost performance and satisfaction.

2. Product Lifecycle & Performance Management

• Manage product lifecycle from launch to retirement.
• Provide support tools: training, sales tools, communication, distribution.
• Implement advertising, promotions, pricing changes, and distribution initiatives.
• Create cross-departmental working groups for product-related incidents.
• Review product performance monthly and adjust provisions if needed.
• Manage partner relationships, MoUs, invoicing, and payments.
• Ensure accuracy of official reports to ARCT.

3. Evolving Customer Needs & New Product Development

• Monitor competition and recommend responses.
• Conduct feedback sessions with stakeholders.
• Run market surveys, analyze results, and recommend actions.
• Identify new product opportunities.

4. Product Alignment & Corrective Measures

• Implement service improvements for VAS & Data.
• Monitor performance and recommend promotional or withdrawal strategies.
• Adjust action plans as needed.

5. Planning

• Contribute to commercial and strategic plans.
• Identify business gaps and recommend new services.
