Malteser International (MI) is the international humanitarian aid body of the Sovereign Order of Malta. In the provinces of Ituri, Haut Uélé, Bas Uélé, Equateur, Kasaï Central and North Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the NGO has been providing humanitarian assistance since 2000. Malteser International is carrying out various projects there in the areas of health, water, hygiene and sanitation (WASH) and food security.
For the management of its program, Malteser International is seeking a Country Program Coordinator based in Ariwara, Ituri province, Democratic Republic of Congo.
As Programme Coordinator you have the opportunity to lead, through our multicultural team, the smooth running of the logistics, administration and implementation of our diverse programme in the fields of humanitarian aid, transition assistance and development cooperation.

- Plan, coordinate, implement and control Malteser International projects in the Provinces of Ituri, Haut Uélé, Bas Uélé, Equateur, Kasaï Central and North Kivu, ensuring operational, administrative, financial and logistical aspects
- Ensure operational quality and monitoring of operations, as well as the implementation of the program in accordance with the operational strategy.
- To ensure the coordination of Human Resources, including recruitment, supervision and employee monitoring, in order to build and maintain a team dynamic that enables the successful achievement of objectives
- Ensuring adherence to deadlines and the quality of internal reports and those intended for donors
- Ensure good communication with the national coordination and headquarters
- Develop strategic directions and propose new operational directions according to the evolving context
- Participate in relevant humanitarian forums and coordination meetings and represent the organization to external stakeholders, administrative, political and local authorities and civil society
