Key Deliverables

  • Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.)
  • Ensure full compliance with tax laws and stay updated on regulatory changes
  • Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax audits, reconciliations, and investigations
  • Maintain accurate tax records and documentation
  • Advise management on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities legally.
  • Support financial reporting with accurate tax entries and analysis.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience as a Tax and Audit Accountant (preferably in the oil servicing industry)
  • Professional certification: ICAN or ACCA is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and processes (FIRS/LIRS)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
