Volunteer Finance and Administration Assistant
The global health security program at Baylor Uganda works closely with the Ministry of Health, other MDAs, District local governments, and collaborating partners to improve Health Security and Build International Health Regulations Core Capacities in prevention, detection and response to public health threats. The program seeks to engage and maintain a pool of deployable surge volunteers in various temporary assignments and locations across a range of thematic areas to enrich careers while contributing to the Global Health Security Agenda.
Under the overall guidance of the Finance and Administrative assistants, administrative officers and working closely with MoH/government of Uganda counterparts and collaborating partners to facilitate and review the implementation of logistics operations and mobile money payment operations and procedures.
S/he will establish/maintain collaborative networks involving local, subnational and national stakeholders and liaise with other programs and departments.
Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
Minimum a Degree in Business Studies, Accounting with part qualifications in a recognized professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA, CPA or ACA) or equivalent.
2 years’ minimum accounting experience in a busy NGO setting;
