WE have made a strategic decision to go into the labour export business to help professionals in Africa secure employment opportunities abroad from countries seeking to fill their skills deficit with talent from Africa.
We are currently seeking to fill the above position with a suitably qualified and competent Recruitment Officer with experience working in a busy business environment. As a Recruitment Officer in Labour Export, you will be at the forefront of matching skilled candidates with international employment prospects. Your role will be more than just finding jobs; you will be a facilitator of dreams, helping individuals take their careers oversease to new horizons while adhering to the guidelines of labour export regulations.
THE JOB
The recruitment officer will manage the relationship between us and international recruitment agencies
As a Recruitment Officer for the Labour Export division, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, selecting, and deploying qualified candidates for international job placements. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in the procedures and regulations associated with labour export and dedicated to facilitating successful overseas employment opportunities for our clients.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Candidate Sourcing and Selection:
- Identify potential candidates through various recruitment channels, including online platforms, databases, job fairs, and networking.
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including interviews, skills testing, and reference checks.
- Match candidates' qualifications and preferences to suitable overseas job opportunities.
- Search for international recruitment agencies seeking to import talent from Africa
- Stay conversant with current labour export regulations, policies, and procedures both locally and in destination countries.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards throughout the recruitment process.
- Guide candidates through the necessary documentation and pre-deployment preparations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their labour needs and specific job requirements for overseas positions.
- Provide regular updates on candidate selection progress, ensuring clients are well-informed throughout the process.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate profiles, records, and documentation for transparency and accountability.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation to government authorities and other relevant agencies as required by labour export regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments within the company to ensure seamless candidate deployment, including travel arrangements, visa processing, and orientation programs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective recruitment strategies and materials.
- Generate regular reports on recruitment activities, candidate pipelines, and placement success rates.
- Analyze recruitment trends and propose adjustments to strategies to improve outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
The job holder should have the following qualifications.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in recruitment and selection, particularly in the field of labour export.
3. Professional affiliation to a relevant professional body is an added advantage.

We are looking for an experienced HR professional currently working with a labour export agency in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda or Nigeria.
- Thorough understanding of labour export procedures, regulations, and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.

- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software, databases, and Microsoft Office suite.
