Creative production and quality:
- Conceptualise, design, and produce graphics, motion, video, and interactive content for campaigns, eLearning, leadership programs, internal comms, and events.
- Translate complex ideas into clear visual narratives, storyboards, and prototypes.
- Own quality control (visual consistency, technical checks, accessibility basics, formatting for platforms).
- Maintain a design system (templates, libraries, reusable assets) and contribute to brand evolution.
Project Management:
- Scope work (requirements, user needs, constraints), create project plans, estimates, and production schedules.
- Run stand‑ups/check‑ins, track progress, manage risks, and escalate early; keep documentation up to date.
- Coordinate cross‑functional partners (content, learning designers, SMEs, comms, tech) to land milestones on time and within budget.
- Report on KPIs (e.g., delivery lead time, revision cycles, engagement metrics, satisfaction scores).
People Management & Capability Building
- Provide day‑to‑day guidance to interns and staff level designers and freelancers; assign tasks, review outputs, and mentor on tools and craft.
- Conduct constructive critiques and peer reviews; promote design best practices and a growth mindset.
- Contribute to hiring (portfolio screening, task design, interview feedback).
- Build internal ways of working: playbooks, SOPs, templates, and training sessions.
External Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement
- Engage and manage external suppliers (production studios, voice‑over artists, illustrators, animators): briefs, quotes, scopes, SLAs, and quality standards.
- Represent the design function with business stakeholders; run workshops, present concepts, manage expectations, and negotiate trade‑offs.
- Ensure compliance with brand, IP, licensing, and usage rights across all assets.
Platform Readiness, Accessibility & Compliance
- Export, package, and optimise media for target platforms (web, mobile, LMS, social, event screens).
- Apply accessibility basics (captions, contrast, readable typography, pacing).
- Adhere to information security, data privacy, and brand governance.
Other Collaborations
- Provide Multimedia Services to the Discovery Institute of Training Teams when developing creative material for their requirements.

- Collaborate with the Internal Marketing and Branding Teams to ensure the consistency of the brand and design collateral.

- Coach and mentor multimedia designers at staff level on technical and leadership skills.
- Liaise with the internal and external providers to ensure quality of designs/prints and deadlines are met.
