  • Prepare research ethics applications, data sharing agreements, and study progress reports
  • Conduct literature searches and maintain citation databases
  • Analyse research data, interpret results, prepare manuscripts and presentations
  • Prepare policy briefs to disseminate research findings at scientific meetings and conferences
  • Prepare journal articles to share research findings at scientific meetings and conferences
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Abilities and Attributes

  • Subject knowledge and oral/written communication skills to discuss and document research progress.
  • Ability to work independently and accurately and to problem solves technical and methodological issues that arise during the research.
  • Ability to apply sound research techniques, methodology, and logical critical analysis.
  • Superior writing and communication skills, including the ability to contribute to presentations, grant proposals and manuscripts
  • Proficiency with appropriate analytic software and tools, SPSS, R-Studio, and Python, in particular
  • Ability to work effectively in an inter-disciplinary team environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills
