Field Loans Officer

Platinum Credit Uganda is seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Field Loans Officer. As a Field Loans Officer, you will play a crucial role in promoting our financial products and services to potential clients. You will be responsible for conducting field visits, assessing loan applications, and ensuring efficient loan disbursement and recovery processes.

  1. Market and Promote Financial Products: Actively promote Platinum Credit Uganda’s loan products and services to potential clients in designated regions through door-to-door visits, marketing events, and other outreach activities.
  2. Customer Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of loan applicants, evaluating their creditworthiness, repayment capacity, and financial stability.
  3. Loan Application Processing: Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  4. Loan Disbursement and Recovery: Facilitate the efficient and timely disbursement of approved loans to eligible clients. Additionally, monitor loan repayment schedules and engage in effective debt recovery strategies as needed.
  5. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries, providing financial advice, and offering excellent customer service.
  6. Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform the development of effective marketing and loan product strategies.
  7. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining proper documentation and reporting.
  8. Achieve Sales Targets: Work towards achieving individual and team targets for loan disbursement and recovery, contributing to the company’s overall business growth.
  9. Data Collection and Reporting: Accurately record and report all field activities, loan disbursements, and customer interactions in a timely manner.
  1. Proven Experience: Previous experience in sales, marketing, or microfinance will be an advantage.
  2. Financial Knowledge: Familiarity with loan products, credit assessment, and debt recovery practices.
  3. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  4. Customer-Centric Approach: A focus on providing exceptional customer service and building long-term customer relationships.
  5. Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and achieve set goals.
  6. Problem-Solving Skills: Capacity to assess and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a proactive and efficient manner.

  9. Mobility: Willingness to travel and conduct field visits as per job requirements.
